ENGINEERING OFFICE
Mech. / Elect. Designer
📍Cape Town
Full-time (Office Based)
As a Mechanical / Electrical Designer, you shall be responsible for the drafting of technical drawings and accurate three-dimensional building/mechanical design. You shall be working with a close-knit team in accurate model problem solving and development. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • The role involves collaborating with the BIM Manager & Coordinator and shall directly report to the Engineers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet all specifications and quality standards • Assist with day-to-day operational needs of the Company • Utilise different software packages to perform designs / simulations and provide feedback to the respective Engineer / Drawing Office Manager • Assist with 3D & 4D designs and ensure a suitable level of works is received • Compile project schedules and reports • Compile bills of materials for project scopes • Provide input into Scope of Works documents and definitions with collaboration of Engineers. • Facilitate on-site installations • Facilitate procurement and project fulfilment • Attend client meetings together with the BIM Manager and Coordinator / Engineers • Stay atop of the latest model development tools and software packages • Stay abreast with SANS / SABS standards and guidelines Skills and Competencies: • Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools • Technical support, troubleshooting and computer repair skills • Strong collaborative and interpersonal abilities • Expertise in time management with the ability to meet deadlines • Creativity and artistic ability • Keen attention to detail • A team player with the ability to work independently Work Experience and Educational Requirements: • Higher Certificate and/or Diploma in Multi-disciplinary Draughting and a minimum of 5 years working in a professional environment, within the engineering field OR a Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Diploma / Degree with a minimum of 2 years working in a professional environment within the engineering field • Autodesk Certified Professional User - AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor
DRAWING OFFICE
Jnr. CAD Technician

Full-time (Office Based)
As a Junior CAD Technician, you shall be responsible for the drafting of technical drawings and accurate three-dimensional building/mechanical design. You shall be working with a close-knit team in accurate model problem solving and development. Digital Surveyor

Full-time (Office Based & Travel)
As a Digital Surveyor, you shall be responsible for the drafting of technical drawings and accurate three-dimensional building/mechanical design. You shall be working with a close-knit team in accurate model problem solving and development. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform 3D scans of various spaces using the Matterport Pro3 camera, ensuring high-quality data capture for Scan-to-BIM deliverables (Training will be provided). • Travel to client sites to conduct scans, adhering to project schedules and requirements. • Liaise with clients to schedule and organise site visits, understanding their specific needs and project scopes. • Manage all aspects of the scanning process, from initial planning and setup to data capture and upload. • Complete general administrative tasks related to projects, including documentation, reporting, and data management, to ensure smooth project execution. Skills and Competencies: • Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English • Strong collaborative and interpersonal abilities • Strong computer literacy skills with an interest in draughting • Expertise in time management with the ability to meet deadlines • Keen attention to detail • A team player with the ability to work independently Work Experience and Educational Requirements: • Matriculation Certificate • Code B Driver’s Licence • 1 year work experience in any service or professional environment
